KUMMELHOLMEN

Kummelholmen is a site where exhibitions and actions take form in direct relation to space.

The programme moves between temporary interventions and more sustained projects. Artists are invited to work at scale, often in situations where material, body and time are central.

Located in Vårberg, Stockholm, the space is shaped by raw concrete, height and changing conditions. The site itself becomes an active part of each project.

PROGRAMME

The programme is structured through three parallel formats:

One Day at Kummelholmen

A series of one-day exhibitions where artists activate the space within a limited timeframe.

Curated exhibitions

Projects that unfold over time, either as solo presentations or in constellations between multiple practices.

International projects

Collaborations with artists and initiatives across different contexts, connecting local work to a broader field.
